Brussel Sprouts, Fried

What you need

Brussel sprouts
1/2 lemon
Parmesan cheese
Olive oil

How to do it

Wash brussel sprouts. Dry. Cut off stems. Cut in half and put into a mixing bowl. If leaves fall off, put them in mixing bowl too. Pour a bit of olive oil in mixing bowl, toss.

Heat some olive oil in skillet, don't get too hot. Keep heat at low/medium, add brussel spouts face down and leaves. Cover. Let cook for five minutes. After five, check if a bit black/brown on bottom and somewhat tender (but not mushy). If so, turn over, cook round side a bit over higher heat. Toss a little, remove from heat when some of round size is brown/black.

Put on serving receptacle. Add some salt. Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon over. Grate some parmesan cheese over. Serve. It's nice to have parmesan cheese nearby so you can keep adding it as you eat - every bite should have a bunch of cheese.
